Welcome to the 60-second Album. This page will feature a new album periodically. Each album will be accompanied by a 60-second sound clip that I've made, boiling down the main themes of each album to a 60 second sound byte.

Released in 1996, One More Trip to Birdland is my favorite recording of Maynard and Big Bop Nouveau. This was really a great lineup, featuring Carl Fischer, Scott Englebright, Matt Wallace, and Tom Garling. Maynard himself really stretches out more on this album and his solos are very interesting. 60-second Sound Clip*: trip.mp3 (700k) This album is available as a regular CD and as a SACD.
